EMDR + IFS Group Consultation
EMDR + IFS Group Consultation - Virtual on Zoom
EMDRIA-Eligible | Ongoing, Limited Availability
These group consultation offerings support clinicians integrating EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) into real clinical work using The Integrated EMDR and IFS Model. Consultation hours count toward EMDRIA consultation requirements and are documented accordingly.
This is my most consistently offered consultation format. Groups tend to fill quickly when scheduled.
About the Consultation Groups
These groups are designed to support thoughtful, grounded integration of EMDR and IFS through case consultation, clinical decision-making, and moment-to-moment process work. The focus is not on polished presentations or having the “right” question, but on helping clinicians think clearly, pace effectively, and apply the model in real sessions.
Groups may be offered as drop-in consultation groups or closed cohorts, depending on the season. Both formats emphasize depth, collaboration, and practical application.
Who This Is For
These consultation groups are a good fit for clinicians who:
Are EMDR-trained and integrating IFS into their work
Are seeking EMDRIA consultation hours toward certification
Want support thinking through complex or confusing cases
Learn best through discussion, reflection, and shared clinical process
Clinicians are welcome to attend regardless of their current level of skill with the EMDR + IFS model.
How the Group Works
Each group begins with a brief check-in where I ask participants what they need most from that day’s consultation. You will always have multiple ways to participate. Common options include:
I have a case I’d like to discuss and receive feedback on
I have process-related questions about EMDR, IFS, or integration
I want to observe today
Observation is always welcome. Choosing to observe helps create space for others to take more time with complex cases and often leads to learning that feels easier and less effortful.
Throughout the group, we pause between discussions to notice whether a case brings up questions you didn’t know you had, clinical patterns you recognize, or moments that help the model click in a new way.
You never need to come with a specific question or an organized case presentation. You are welcome to say:
“I’m feeling stuck,”
“I’m lost,” or
“I don’t even know what my question is.”
You can brain-dump. I will ask questions until I have a clear conceptualization of the case, and I will always have feedback to offer.
Prerequisites
Participants should have a working familiarity with the EMDR + IFS integration model, demonstrated by one of the following:
Completion of The Integrated EMDR and IFS Model Level 1 (live or on-demand), or
Reading my book and seeking consultation to support integration
These groups are not introductory trainings, but you do not need to be “good at the model” to participate.
These prerequisites are not meant to exclude, they are to ensure the group focuses on consultation, not introductory training.
What to Expect
Each consultation group emphasizes:
Case conceptualization using the EMDR + IFS framework
Clinical decision-making and pacing
Protocol fidelity and flexibility
Working with protectors, targets, and phase transitions
Applying the model in nuanced or complex cases
The tone of the group is collaborative, grounded, and respectful. The goal is clear thinking and effective clinical work, not performance.
Investment
EMDR + IFS Group Consultation is offered as a drop-in format when scheduled.
$85 for 60-minute group consultation sessions
$100 for 90-minute group consultation sessions
Payment is per session. Registration details are provided when groups are announced.
These groups are offered periodically and tend to fill quickly when scheduled.

Demo Groups
Live, small-group experiences where clinicians observe EMDR + IFS work in real time and debrief clinical decision-making, pacing, and therapist presence.
Practicum Groups
Hands-on, skills-based groups where clinicians practice integrating EMDR + IFS with peers in a structured, supported setting with real-time feedback.
Consultant-in-Training (CIT) Groups

Important Note About Individual Consultation
I am not currently accepting new individual consultation clients, and I do not anticipate opening ongoing individual consultation in the foreseeable future. My consultation work is offered primarily through group-based formats.
If you are seeking individual EMDR or EMDR + IFS consultation, I provide referrals to trusted colleagues trained in this model.
