Will you return to London or the UK for future courses?

Yes, I plan to return to the UK in the future! I hope to return in the Fall of 2025. EMDR UK has approved my May 2025 course, and they have informed me that before approving any future courses, they would like to review participant feedback forms to ensure that I deliver high-quality content to their delegates.

I am confident that the feedback will be positive, as I have worked hard to ensure my material is accessible and highly relevant to counselors. However, I must wait for EMDR UK’s formal approval for the second course, which may not be finalized until Summer 2025. Once that approval is in place, I can confirm the dates and location for my next UK course.

I’m hoping to return in November 2025, and I’m considering hosting the course in either London or York, with the possibility of exploring other locations.

Who should participate in The Integrated EMDR and IFS Model courses?

Therapists must complete an EMDRIA-approved Basic EMDR Training and have a foundational understanding of both EMDR and IFS.
If you're new to IFS, I offer a free 90-minute introductory training to help you get started before enrolling.

If you’d like an EMDR refresher, I also offer a 2.5-hour on-demand course for $59 that includes 2.5 EMDRIA and NBCC CEs.

Can I skip Level 1 and go straight to Level 2 if I’ve already completed an IFS Institute Level 1 training?

Even if you’ve completed IFS Institute Level 1, I recommend starting with the Integrated Model Level 1 course. It’s specifically designed to teach how EMDR and IFS blend together—something not covered in standard IFS or EMDR trainings.

If you’re already confident in your IFS skills, the on-demand version may be ideal. You can skip over material you know and focus on integration-specific content at your own pace.

How long do I have access to on-demand courses?

On-demand courses include 12 months of access from the date of purchase, giving you the flexibility to learn on your own time.

Foundations Masterclass FAQs

Who can enroll in the IFS Foundations Masterclass?

This course is open to licensed therapists, trauma-informed coaches, and bodyworkers. It’s designed for those new to IFS who want to learn the model in an accessible format without the time or financial commitment of IFS Institute's Level 1 training.

What if I can’t attend a live session?

If you cannot attend one of the live demo + Q&A sessions, don’t worry! Recordings of these sessions will be available for viewing at your convenience. While the practicum meetings will not be recorded, you can still earn CE credit for all the on-demand content you engage with. If you miss a practicum, you won’t receive CE credit for that session, but you can still fully benefit from the rest of the course.

What is the schedule and time zone?

The schedule for each cohort of the IFS Foundations Masterclass is outlined in great detail on the course webpage. You can visit the webpage and scroll down to find the specific cohort you're interested in. Click on your cohort to view the detailed schedule, including dates and times for live sessions.

I am based in San Diego, California; all times are listed in Pacific Time (PT).

Can I access the course content after the cohort ends?

Yes, all course materials, including recorded sessions and handouts, will remain accessible for 60 days after the cohort ends. You can revisit the content at your convenience to reinforce your learning.

How do I join the waitlist or find out when the next cohort opens?

If a cohort is full, you can join the waitlist via the course page. To hear when new dates are announced, join the mailing list at the bottom of this page.

How does this course compare to an IFS Institute level 1 training?

This course is designed to provide a foundational IFS education to bridge the gap for those who cannot participate in an IFS Institute level 1 training due to the time commitment, cost, or waitlist. Its content is similar to that of an IFS Institute Level 1 course.

Can I refer to myself as IFS Trained after completing this course?

The term IFS Trained is only granted by the IFS Institute after the completion of a level 1 training. Participants in this program often refer to themselves as IFS-informed or as integrating “parts work” into their clinical practice.

What is your refund policy?

I offer different refund policies depending on the type of program you're enrolling in (e.g., live trainings, retreats, on-demand courses). You can read the full cancellation and refund policy here. If you have questions, feel free to contact me before registering.
