Event Overview

After an incredible event in London in May 2025, which sold out in 20 days, I am thrilled to return this October to share The Integrated EMDR and IFS Model with you. This three-day in-person workshop is one of only a few opportunities worldwide to learn EMDR + IFS integration directly from me in a live, experiential format.

New to IFS?

To support your learning, I created a free 90-minute IFS overview video available on demand. This overview will provide you with the foundational information needed to participate fully in the workshop.

What You Will Learn

• Integrating EMDR and IFS: Combine EMDR phases with IFS parts work for enhanced trauma healing.

• Identifying and Working with Parts: Recognize and differentiate between protectors, exiles, and Self within the client’s internal system.

• Parts-Mapping and History-Taking: Incorporate IFS concepts into EMDR history-taking for comprehensive treatment planning.

• IFS Preparation Techniques: Build safety and connect clients to Self-energy before EMDR reprocessing.

• Integrating Phases 1-8: Apply IFS in each EMDR phase, focusing on protector management and unburdening exiles.

• Overcoming Processing Blocks: Address and resolve blocks in EMDR using IFS strategies for smoother reprocessing.

• Legacy and Cultural Burdens: Identify and unburden intergenerational and cultural burdens within the EMDR IFS framework.

• Practical Applications: Boost your confidence with case studies and practical examples of EMDR and IFS integration.

• Practice the Skills: Participate in supervised practicums led by Dr. Hart, her US team, and UK sponsor Sarah Harrison.

Accreditation

This event is currently in the review process for CPD points with EMDR UK, and I am hopeful to gain approval again as the first event was such a success.

Awaiting the outcome, the event is hoping to provide:

• 18 EMDR UK CPD points (under review)

• 18 EMDRIA credits (US and Canada)

• 18 NBCC credits (for US-licensed counselors)

Please note: Registration is now open, but CPD points with EMDR UK are not guaranteed at this time. By registering, you acknowledge that CPD approval is under review and that refunds will not be issued solely based on CPD status.

Applicants from the UK must have completed at least Part 1 of EMDR Europe Standard Accredited Training.
