Inside the Session: Live IFS + EMDR Demonstrations October, 2026 Cohort
Inside the Session: October Cohort
S.V. — Autism, Burnout & Demand Anxiety
Watch how EMDR + IFS integration evolves over time with a neurodivergent client as you follow S.V. across multiple therapy sessions.
S.V. is a late-diagnosed autistic woman with a Level 1 Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis who has spent much of her life highly masking. Her presenting concerns include chronic nervous system activation, autistic burnout, severe demand-related anxiety, shame, isolation, and the impact of navigating everyday expectations with an increasingly overwhelmed nervous system.
Rather than watching a single isolated demonstration, you’ll have the opportunity to follow the therapeutic process over time and see how case conceptualization, parts mapping, treatment priorities, and clinical decision-making evolve as we learn more about S.V.’s system.
What You’ll See
Across the series, you’ll have the opportunity to observe:
How I approach EMDR + IFS integration with a late-diagnosed autistic client.
Chronic nervous system activation, sensory overwhelm, masking, and autistic burnout.
Severe demand-related anxiety in response to everyday responsibilities and expectations.
The interaction between reducing demands and fears related to income, survival, and not doing “enough.”
Shame-based comparisons to what other people seem able to manage.
Protective patterns of avoidance, withdrawal, freezing, and isolation.
How I differentiate autistic overwhelm from trauma-related activation and earlier burdens.
How I map S.V.’s internal system and understand the protective functions of anxiety and avoidance.
How I determine when to work with parts, when to consider EMDR targets, and when reducing pressure may be more clinically appropriate than pushing the system toward change.
A Bonus Fifth Session
I have previously completed an initial demonstration session with S.V. Participants in the October cohort will receive access to that session before our first live meeting.
You’ll then follow S.V. through four additional sessions during the October cohort, giving you the opportunity to observe five therapy sessions with the same person.
More Than the Live Demonstration
After each session, I rewatch the demonstration and turn it into an additional teaching experience.
Your course materials will include:
The complete demonstration recordings.
On-screen clinical commentary highlighting important interventions, shifts, and decision points.
Detailed parts maps reflecting how I conceptualize S.V.’s system.
Post-session clinical debrief videos explaining what I was tracking, what became clearer after reviewing the session, and where I would consider going next.
Live Q&A and discussion following each demonstration.
The goal is not simply to let you watch therapy. It is to help you understand what I am seeing, tracking, and considering as the therapist.
