Inside the Session: Live IFS + EMDR Demonstrations [May & June, 2026]
See what actually happens in the room, while it’s happening.
This is where you watch the work happen in real time, with on-demand access to review and deepen your understanding.
Led by Kendhal Hart, EMDRIA-Approved Trainer, EMDR Consultant, IFS Certified Therapist, and IFS Institute Approved Clinical Consultant. Learn more about Kendhal here.
You’ll be learning directly from Kendhal’s real clinical work, with a focus on how EMDR and IFS can be integrated in-session with clarity, flexibility, and clinical precision.
Across four sessions, you’ll observe live demonstrations of IFS-informed EMDR work, followed by a clear breakdown of the clinical decisions made and where the work would go next.
If you’ve ever thought:
“I understand the model, but I don’t know how to actually do this in session.”
“What does this look like when it’s not scripted?”
“How do I know what to say next?”
This series is designed to answer that.
What This Is
A 4-part demonstration-based learning series where you will:
Observe real-time clinical work using IFS + EMDR
Watch how a clinician responds in the moment to a client’s system
See how sessions unfold with various systems
Learn how interventions are adapted based on what emerges in the room
Each session includes:
A 45–60 minute live demonstration
A 10-15 minute post-session clinical breakdown
15-30 minute Q&A to deepen understanding and application
What Makes This Different
This is not a step-by-step training.
You will:
Watch me track and respond to a client’s system in real time
See how I move between insight and direct access in session
Observe how I monitor my own parts while working
Watch how I adjust to what is actually happening, rather than following a script
The clinical reasoning is shared after the session, so you can first see the work as it naturally unfolds—and then understand the thinking behind it.
Each demonstration will reflect a different system and presentation, giving you exposure to how this work unfolds across clients.
Clinical Breakdown: What You’ll Learn
After each demonstration, I will walk through:
What I was tracking during the session and why I chose specific interventions
IFS-informed EMDR Phase 1 case conceptualization, including treatment planning and target sequencing
Potential EMDR targets and how they inform the direction of the work
Where I would go next in treatment, including how to resume in the next session
Phase 2 strategies to support readiness, stabilization, and system preparation
How I assess readiness for EMDR Phase 4 reprocessing
How I approach Phase 7 (Closure) within the context of the session
Considerations for other EMDR phases, depending on the client’s system, presentation, and readiness
This is where the clinical thinking becomes explicit.
